About the Sbonga Zungu Foundation
Neurodiversity awareness, advocacy, and family support.
The Sbonga Zungu Foundation is a registered South African non-profit organisation focused on neurodiversity awareness, advocacy, and family support. We work alongside parents, caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, and communities to improve quality of life for neurodivergent individuals.
Our Story
The foundation was inspired by the personal journey of its founder as a mother to a neurodivergent child. After experiencing first-hand the confusion, lack of information, and limited post-diagnosis support available to families, the foundation was established to ensure that no family navigating neurodiversity walks alone.

Why We Exist
We exist to bridge the gap between diagnosis and dignity, between isolation and belonging, and between challenges and opportunity for neurodivergent individuals and their families.

Our Vision
An inclusive South African society where neurodivergent individuals and their families are valued, supported, and empowered to live meaningful, dignified, and independent lives.
Our Mission
To empower neurodivergent individuals, families, and communities through advocacy, education, access to resources, and community-centred initiatives that promote inclusion, awareness, and understanding of neurodiversity.
Our Values
Our foundation for every decision we make
